The Creative Spirit of Play
in Congregational Life
Let's hang out
Spiritual formation is an increasingly important part of what we do at First Pres. Together, we continue to deepen our awareness of God’s presence in the world and pay attention to the ways we can cultivate a greater awareness and spaciousness for the gracious work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Becoming a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ is a lifelong journey. Through fellowship, worship, small groups, study, service, prayer, and activities, First Presbyterian Church equips members with the spiritual guidance to fall deeper in love with Christ, experience God’s love, and participate in God’s mission.
Opportunities to enrich your mind and deepen your spirit abound at our church! New participants and non-church members are always welcome.

Wednesday Evenings
Wednesday night is Kirk Night!
We enjoy a time of worship and fellowship from 6:15 PM - 8:00 PM.
Kirk Night combines the fellowship of a shared family meal with an interactive gathering for prayer, Bible study, spiritual discussion, and worship. From the peaceful meditation of a Taize service to an exploration of Mark's Gospel to a spirited hymn sign, Kirk Night overflows with the spirit of community and a longing for a deeper understanding of faith.
Church volunteers prepare meals, and both youth and adults are encouraged to participate.
