Children's Ministry

Children and youth are the lifeblood of any congregation and First Presbyterian is no different.
We are committed to offering children and youth excellent opportunities to worship God, grow in faith,
and serve others in the name of Jesus Christ.

At First Presbyterian Church children are not sent away to a distant youth room or Sunday School class, but instead participate in congregational life. Youth serve regularly as worship leaders. In this role they lead the congregation in prayer, read Scripture, and have even preached the sermon on special occasions. Here at First Presbyterian Church children are not seen as the future of the Church, they are seen as its present.
